Adobe releases Photoshop Touch for the iPad 2 to join the already-available Android version

Adobe has announced the long-awaited release of the Photoshop Touch app on the iPad 2. It has been available on the Android platform since the end of 2011, but users have been crying out for an iOS version… and now it’s here!

The interface is the same as the Android version and it works in the same way, enjoying the most recent updates, such as being able to export layared PSD files.

It is priced the same too, coming in at £6.99/$9.99 in the Apple Store. The Android version is on the Android Marketplace.

If you want to find out more about this image-editing app, then look out for Advanced Photoshop issue 94, on sale from 22 March, which has a five-page tutorial on how to use the app and get around its interface.
