This image by Can Ozdogan is a fun exploration of Mayan-style archaeology combined with typography. The type itself is extruded as 3D objects within the scene, as if it’s part of the ruins that the text itself describes. We particularly like how the moss and ivy textures are applied to the text to make it appear as if it has been overgrown and abandoned for years, while the depth of field effect adds visual interest and gives the illusion that we are peering through jungle forest at this scene.
