Run Your Jewels gives budding artists the opportunity to remix original artwork

The Run Your Jewels exhibition, which has been running since May this year, is the brainchild of New York-based illustrator Justin Maller. The online collaboration sees a bi-weekly competition take place to discover the best remixes of original artwork.
In week one of the cycle, Maller selects a brand-new contributor to upload a high-resolution image to the Run Your Jewels website. Budding artists have until the end of the week to submit their eye-catching remixes.
Week two is dedicated to voting, where all visitors to the exhibition have a say. Maller and the contributing artist have the dominant vote, before a winner is announced and handed a prize. Heavyweight artists, such as Joshua Davis, who recently provided a hand-inked illustration for a prize winner, and Chuck Anderson, have all got involved in Maller’s refreshing concept.
The rolling exhibition and voting process is housed by a clean, easy-to-use website impressively designed by Maller’s business partner Brain Smith.
