Zilinsky produced the winning artwork, entitled Just As Mega Beneath, as a poster campaign for Transport for London, and you can get a behind-the-scenes look at how it was created exclusively in issue 137 of Advanced Photoshop, which is out now.
The Slovakian Photoshop artist travelled to Spain to pick up the prestigious trophy, along with a prize comprised of CG goodies worth over $12,000.
“I managed to take the top spot as the best commercial visualisation this year,” said Zilinksy. “I promise (especially to myself) that this will be food for my soul, not for my ego. Also, it’s great motivation for the further hundreds of hours of patient work I’ll be doing! Thank you to all who participated in the project – from the client and the agency through to the art director and everyone who made the 3D graphics.”
