For those of you who haven’t already heard about it, Digital-Tutors is a tutorial website with a wealth of knowledge behind it. With over 40 different software programmes to choose from and 18.7 million videos viewed so far, it keeps getting bigger and bigger.
The site provides CG training for people who make movies and games and offers you educational features for every skill level. Having recently launched some new Photoshop CS6 video tutorials, it now has a library of over 2,000 Photoshop videos to choose from.
There are a selection of ways to make the site work best for you. The Tools section means that you can bookmark video content, highlight set sections of video, make notes on your own personal notepad and create yourself a playlist with the content you want to come back to.
You can also keep training on the move with Digital-Tutors’ free iPad and iPhone apps. A bonus for those of you that do not always have time to sit in front of a computer to learn.
The website does show a substantial amount of tuition videos free of charge, but for those of you that wish to have full access to the lengthier and more complex courses, a subscription service is available. If you do choose a subscription plan you will gain access to every tutorial in the training library, as well as new training every month and exclusive learning tools.
Prices vary from $45 on a month-by-month basis down to as little as $33.25 if you are billed annually.
