These pairs will each create an original digital artwork depicting their vision of the future.
The first duo, Quebecois photographer Eric Paré, and Michigan designer Mike Campeau, will present “Creating Her Own Future” on Monday, March 10th, when a PSD can be downloaded free for 24 hours at www.tenbyfotolia.com.
The PSD file includes all the layers, effects, photographic meter settings, as well as the Fotolia source files.
A free “making-of” tutorial video, sharing the artists’ techniques and creative processes will also be available.
Light photographer, Eric Paré, and detailed designer Mike Campau join forces
Photographer Eric Paré is an acknowledged expert in light-painting, bullet time and stop-motion photography techniques. Light is central in his minimalist approach to his creations.
Mike Campau prefers to call himself as a “photo-designer”, because he combines many different techniques in his work, such as photography, illustration and CGI (computer-generated imagery). The University of Michigan graduate has over 15 years’ experience in ad agencies, with celebrities such as Tracy Morgan, Mike Tyson, Roger Daltry, and with big clients such as Chevrolet, Ford, Pepsi and Sony.
Their joint artwork, “Creating Her Own Future” blends Paré’s captivating light work with Campau’s careful attention to detail. Both agree that the idea of working together was exciting for them both. “This is an excellent way to meet other artists and photographers who share the same passion,” confides Campau; while Paré says it brought creative inspiration: “I’ve never worked with someone who was able to push my photography so far.”
