Hi guys just a friendly reminder to KEEP POSTING COMMENTS!

We love the standard of artwork coming through our galleries virtual doors, but there seems to be an absence of ratings and comments. We are all here to learn and be critiqued so get your thinking caps on and get commenting!

Keep up the good work.

Each year we showcase a selection of works by the most promising digital art students around, taking a close look at the talent of the future. If you want to see your work showcased in a special feature in our July issue, see the entry information below. Deadline: 12 June 2009

Entry information

Send an email with low-resolution versions of your best Photoshop work (no more than three images please; we will contact you for print-res versions should you be selected), along with a brief bio about yourself and your artwork, plus details of the course that you are currently studying to apstudentshowcase@imagine-publishing.co.uk.
Alternatively, you can send a CD with this information and your images to: Student Showcase, Advanced Photoshop, Richmond House, 33 Richmond Hill, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH2 6EZ, UK.

3D Artist launches

March 26th, 2009

I’m pretty excited by the latest new magazine to come from Imagine Publishing. 3D Artist is our new sister title, aimed at, well, 3D artists. It contains the same blend of tutorials, interviews and inspirational images that you’ve come to expect in Advanced Photoshop, showing you how to do more with 3D software.

There’s a full press release on Photoshop Daily to find out more, but I highly recommend taking a look. 3dartist_01.jpg
