Logo competition news

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Urbanplanet.co.uk (www.urbanplanet.co.uk), a website dedicated to breaking new acts in the music world, is calling for young designers, graffiti artists and artists to help it design a new logo.
I think that this is a great opportunity to get your skills noticed, so why not give it a go? The Design A Logo Competition is accepting entries until 1 February 2008. Simply email your GIF or JPEG file (retaining the original Photoshop file in case you are selected as a winner) to info@urbanplanet.co.uk. The entries will be displayed on the website so that other visitors can comment on their favourite entries, and these comments will be taken into account when the winner is chosen.
As well as a great addition to your portfolio, the winner will also get an Urban Planet goodie bag.

You can always submit images to the Peer Pressure section in the magazine, which can be of anything you like. The Best in Show submission will also win a great prize, courtesy of The Illustration Source (www.illustration-source.com). You can email your images or submit them via the forum.
